Calcium Carbonate / Precipitated Chalk 100g

To reduce acidity in wines the addition of 7g per gallon will lower the acidity by about 1.5 parts per thousand. The liquid will foam up because gas is released by chalk as neutralisation proceeds. Make sure you allow a suitable space for the foam to expand into, it would be a shame to have a great must all over the floor.
